Extension Service

• The extension service is a program that serves those requesting communion when they are unable to be at the church building. This service is provided to those in the hospital, nursing homes, or members who are shut-ins. To receive this service, contact the church office at 753-3714.

Counting

• An attendance count is taken at each assembly and reported to the office.

Fern Terrace

• Worship services are conducted each Sunday morning from 10:15 until 11 o'clock for the residents of Fern Terrace Lodge. Kenneth Cleaver assists Ron in the worship service.

Public Participants

Rusty Back, Gerald Coles, Chris Jones, Rob Thompson, Deacons

• The purpose of this area of involvement is to allow the Christian men of the congregation the opportunity to serve publicly in the worship service. Areas of public service include leading prayers, reading scripture, and serving the Lord's Supper. It is important to have these positions properly staffed prior to worship time.

Nursery, and Mother's Morning Out

• Nursery - Glendale Road provides a nursery for children up to 36 months old during worship services, gospel meetings, singings, and other special events. This service is provided so that families (members and visitors) may leave their young children in the nursery while they assemble in the auditorium. Members of the church supervise the nursery on a rotating basis.

• Mother's Morning Out - Mother's Morning Out is held each Friday from 9am until noon. Members may bring their children or grandchildren to the building to be cared for. This gives members some free time to do things that they might not otherwise be able to do. A small donation is accepted to cover the cost of snacks and related materials.
